A Complete Guide to Breakfast in Canggu

One of my favorite things about Canggu is the breakfast spread! Around each and every corner is a cafe with healthy options calling your name! I have made it my mission to try out as many cafes as possible during my first month in Bali and I am excited to share with you my favorite spots for breakfast in Canggu! I’m giving you the inside scoop on the wi-fi, vibes, food, and more! If you’re a breakfast food connoisseur like me, my brekkie guide will have you craving all the avocado toast and smoothie bowls!

Best Cafes in Canggu

Two Trees

Jl. Pantai Berawa No.99, Canggu, Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361

0700-1000

Two Trees is hands down my FAVORITE Canggu cafe! Located in Berawa, it has everything you need for a productive day! The cafe is bright and open, and the workers are so nice and attentive! I meet so many people here building their online empires- even more so than in my coworking spaces! My favorite coffee drink to order is the Affogato – espresso over ice cream! Anything you order from the menu is delicious. If I could work anywhere in Canggu every day, it would be at Two Trees!

Satu Satu

Jl. Pantai Berawa No.36, Tibubeneng, Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361

0730-4:30PM

Satu Satu is a hidden gem and I almost don’t want to share it because I want it to stay that way! The front of the building looks out to the street and is breezy and great for people watching! My ideal spot to brunch is upstairs in their air conditioned work room! Get there early because it does tend to fill up. The best part about Satu Satu is the pricing – it’s the cheapest spot I’ve seen in Canggu! You can get an omelet for ONLY 25 IDR! A green peace bowl or smashed avocado with 2 poached eggs is 50 IDR, panini breakfast is just 30 IDR, and a small cappuccino is 25 IDR. Literally the cheapest I’ve seen and the food is AMAZING!

Nude

Jl. Pantai Berawa No.33, Tibubeneng, Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361

0700-2200

I am a regular at Nude and I think it’s safe to say that there are MANY digital nomads that frequent here often and it’s for good reason! The Wi-f is the best in the biz, there is a separate closed off room with plugs for your laptop charger, AND if you get here from 7am-9am you can get a brekky burrito & coffee for 75K ($5.35 USD). At any given time of the day you will see heaps of nomads grinding away on their laptops. Oh, and of course the smoothie bowls are amazing!

Silk Road Whole Foods

0800-10PM

This is one of the quietest and best places to rise and grind! This organic cafe has the most comfy couches and cutest decor of any place I’ve seen in Canggu! Some of my most productive days have been at this cafe because of the environment and you can find other digital nomads here as well who have discovered this amazing place!

Silk Whole Foods is also the only place that I’ve seen an acai bowl being served! All of their salads are made from produce that is chemical and pesticide free- sourced from the mountain and lake area of Bedugul.

The best part? All of their prices are inclusive of 10% tax and 5% service charge. AMEN TO THAT!

If you are craving the ultimate Canggu breakfast experience, Crate is going to be your go-to spot! For the price and the amount of food you get, Crate is the best value in my opinion. My brekkie plate was HUGE and filled me up after my workout for only 55 IDR (USD 3.92). OH and the juices and coffees are fantastic. I love the lounge in the back for the comfy pink couches and easily accessible plugs! We arrived around 10 AM and the line was short but upon leaving at noon it was much busier.

Matcha is well known for its health benefits and is full of antioxidants, amino acids, minerals, and fiber! If you’re a matcha fan, then head over to Matcha Cafe! The matcha here comes from Uji in the Kyoto region of Japan and is 100% pure with no other ingredients.

I absolutely love this food menu – especially their smoothie bowls! AMEN! Oh… and if you’re a pancake fan, then be sure to try out their matcha protein pancakes or their matcha nutella pancakes!
